Globally recognized PC Tools signs retail distribution agreement with Lako Pacific.Melbourne, 5th September 2006. Lako Pacific and PC Tools announce a formal agreement to distribute PC Tools’ anti-spyware and software utility products to the Australian retail channel. PC Tools, better known for the flagship products Spy Doctor® and Registry Mechanic®, available online up until today will soon be available for purchase to retail and online retail stores in Australia. The decision to release the product to the retail market is part of a strategy to grow PC Tools’ total market share, build brand recognition in the channel and take advantage of the fact that most Australian consumers still feel more comfortable purchasing software in a box.
For Lako Pacific, it is a huge addition to their portfolio of international brands and in particular, their second Australian supplier with global success. The partnership will bring value to both companies with PC Tools being highly active with marketing the brand and products, and Lako Pacific bringing value with longstanding channel relationships and its own successes with building other brands and market share in the retail channel.
