In addition to watching YouTube and other downloaded or PC-based content on your TV, users can also easily record TV shows, videos, and home movies from virtually any source (cable or satellite TV, DVD, DVR/TiVoTM, VCR, game console, camcorder, etc) to enjoy them anytime, anywhere on devices they already own.
With the Neuros OSD, you avoid proprietary lock-in by creating standard format MP4 files that you can play back virtually anywhere (on your TV via the OSD or directly on PCs and portable devices like the iPod™, iPhone™ and PSP™). Likewise, the Neuros OSD allows you to record directly to whatever storage you want. Typically, this means attaching a USB external hard drive (not included), but recording is also supported over a home network directly to your PC's hard drive, as well as to network attached storage drives and memory cards. Once recorded, you can easily transfer to portables and watch on the go or anywhere.

Open Source Community Enables YouTube Browsing on Neuros OSD
The Neuros can now be used to easily browse and play the entire YouTube video collection on any TV, both standard and high definition. Functionality includes keyword searching and browsing by category and rating. As always, users can download software updates for free directly from the Company’s website: www.neurostechnology.com or automatically from the OSD using the product’s built-in software update feature.
